Management Team
The executive management team at Nitronex has extensive experience in all aspects of the design, manufacture and marketing of RF semiconductor products for the mobile communications industry. Collectively, key management personnel have proven track records across several industries including wireless/RF, semiconductor devices, and semiconductor materials. Furthermore, the Nitronex senior engineering team represents one of the largest groups of GaN experts in the world, employing 12 engineers with doctoral degrees in the field of GaN expitaxial growth and processing.

Charles Shalvoy, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Charlie joined Nitronex from Conductus, Inc. where he was President and Chief Executive Officer prior to their merger with Superconductor Technologies. Before Conductus, Charlie was President and Chief Operating Officer of Therma-Wave, Inc., a manufacturer of semiconductor production equipment. In addition, Charlie has an extensive background in senior management positions with Aehr Test Systems, Emerson Electric Corp., and Raychem Corporation. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

 

 Gary Blackington, Vice President - Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Gary joined Nitronex from Numonyx B.V. where he was the Director of World Wide Applications. Prior to the formation of Numonyx, Gary held several senior sales management positions at Intel Corporation. Gary has also held senior sales management positions at Metalink Inc, IBM Corporation and Actel Corporation. Gary holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lowell.

 

 Ray Crampton, Vice President - Engineering
Ray joined Nitronex from Texas Instruments, where he was Strategic Marketing and Systems Engineering Manager. Before that, Ray held various positions at Sirenza Microdevices including Product Line Manager, Engineering Manager and Senior RF IC Design Engineer. Ray has a BS and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Jim DeVivo Jim DeVivo, Director - Finance
Jim joined Nitronex from Bear Stearns and Companies in New York where he specialized in financial consolidation and regulatory filings for the investment banking firm's European subsidiaries. Previously, he audited commercial real estate companies and small businesses with the public accounting firm Friedman Alpren and Green in New York.
