We are currently seeking an entry to mid level Apps Engineer to join ourrapidly growing team in Durham, NC!
Job Description:
This position is responsible for building tuning, and testing evaluation boards against customer and/or marketing requirements.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop CAD drawings, build, tune, and test application boards and provide report per customer and/or marketing specifications on common types of RF devices: power transistors, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, switches, mixers, discrete and MMIC devices
- Perform testing of
devices using common RF tests including load-pull, modulated waveform
distortion, S-parameters, multi-port isolation, noise figure, conversion
loss/gain, insertion loss, output mismatch/robustness, DC and pulsed I-V
- Tune standard
application boards to center performance across expected component
variations
- Present data to
customers, correlate data between Nitronex and customer test systems to
resolve differences in equipment and methodology
- Develop test
capability and equipment purchase roadmap to align with application
engineering department requirements. Implement quality assurance metrics
using gold standards or other methods to determine quality of data provided
to customers
Job Requirements:

Associates Degree in Electronics
-
3 years experience working as an RF or Apps Eng

5 years experience with high power amplifiers and MMIC and device characterizations
